Diaspora Groceries Cares works in partnership with Diaspora Groceries LLC to deliver culturally grounded programs rooted in health, healing, and entrepreneurship across the South LA ecosystem.

 

Together, we:

  • Diaspora Groceries Supplier Summit – Connect with food entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and neighbors while showcasing your brand.

  • Technical Assistance for Food Entrepreneurs – Help vendors get their products shelf-ready and grow sustainable businesses.

​

  • Private Food Equity Fundraisers – Host or sponsor events that raise awareness and resources for equitable access to healthy food.

​

  • Community-Based Events – Support seed and grocery giveaways that nourish families and inspire local food growth.

We don’t just build programs—we build with the people doing the work.

Micro-Grants

Up to $2,500 to support local food entrepreneurs, growers, and kitchen-based vendors.Funds may cover licensing, equipment, packaging, or market fees.

Wellness & Food as Medicine

Up to $2,500 to support local food entrepreneurs, growers, and kitchen-based vendors.Funds may cover licensing, equipment, packaging, or market fees.

Financial Literacy & Wealth Building

Training on budgeting, credit repair, business banking, tax prep, and legacy planning.

Workforce Readiness & Entrepreneurial Skills

Mentorship, public speaking, confidence coaching, and business development. Inpartnership with DG LLC and community advisors.
